Here we are talking about a sweet which comes from the maternal grandparents of the bride and groom. This sweet is made only at weddings. Its name is Arisa. It tastes amazing. Its tradition is very old in Jharkhand and Bihar.

Actually, the wedding season is going on. In such a situation, guests definitely come to the bride or groom’s house with some sweets. At the same time, this sweet coming from maternal home is something different. Champa Devi, the housewife who made it, told that this tradition is centuries old. When we marry our children, special sweets come from the parents’ house. One of these sweets is Arisa. Not everyone can make it, because it is very difficult to make. Its process is long.

These materials are needed
Further told that to make Arisa, Arwa rice, jaggery, mustard oil and flour are required. If you want to prepare Arisa from two kilos of rice, you will have to take about 1.5 kilos of jaggery. A little flour. You can prepare Arisa without flour, but it becomes more crunchy when eaten in less quantity.

This is how it is prepared
Champa Devi told that to make Arisa, first swell the Arwa rice in water overnight. After this, filter it first thing in the morning. Grind it using a mixer. Keep in mind that if the rice is not completely fine in one go, then grind it again in the mixer. After this, run the ground rice through a sieve and keep it aside. Now comes the time to churn the jaggery. To boil jaggery, put it on fire at the rate of one glass of water in 1 kg of jaggery. After this keep stirring it slowly. When the paag is completely ready, keep adding ground rice little by little. Keep in mind that the pan should be on flame. After mixing all the rice, add a little flour. When it is mixed well, remove the pan and keep the mixture covered in a vessel. After this, put the pan on fire and add one kg mustard oil. At the same time, make a small ball from the mixture and put it on the plastic with your hands like a roti. Finally filter it and take it out. Your Arisa is ready.

1 kg rice will make 30 pieces
Further told that its taste is very wonderful. Due to the formation of jaggery its color is also brown. If you make Arisa from one kg of rice then 30 pieces of Arisa will be ready. One special thing about it is that this sweet does not spoil for a long time. Once made, it can be eaten for about a month.
